For convenient and proper compression of sleeves, both in

the field and in the shop, many types of tools are avail

able.  Splices made with these tools typically hold military

specification grade aircraft control cable in tension until the

cable breaks.  To insure good splices, make the proper

number of presses in each sleeve.  Applications that

require continuous and frequent sleeve pressings call for

the use of our larger toggle action tools, or power press

equipment.
